If you can't travel at the moment, there are many fun things to do at home. The current situation in the world
is impacting us all and in many different ways. No one ever expected a global pandemic like that, but here we
are. So let's use this time to reconnect and work on ourselves.
One of the best things you can do at home now is to create (or update) your bucket list. Not only with places,
you want to visit, but also new things you want to experience. Open your travel atlas and see where you want
to go next. Check 1700 bucket list ideas from my friend Slavi.
If you are staying home for some time, and can't travel, this is the perfect time for you to finally go
through your travel photos and sort them into beautiful albums. It is also a great time when you can create a
travel video from the destination you visited.
If you sorted out all your photos from hard drives, move to your phone. I hate backing up my phone, but this
is a perfect time to make space for new travel memories.
If you wonder how to craft the perfect travel itinerary, then you are in the right place. Planning a short or
a long trip? It doesn't matter what trip you are going for, creating a plan will make your trip close to
perfect and help you to avoid the most common mistakes.
Quite a shocker, right? You are here to find out how to plan your perfect travel itinerary and I just told you
that there is no such thing. Well, more or less.
So hear us out.
Everyone is different and prefers different things. What is the best thing for me, doesn't need to be the best
for you. And this, of course, applies to traveling as well. And why is that? Well, there are several types of
travelers:
Travelers who PLAN literally everything.
Travelers who DO NOT PLAN anything at all.
Travelers who PLAN just enough to get by with a little touch of FLEXIBILITY.
We would definitely consider ourselves the ones who plan our itineraries but also try to be as flexible as
possible. We love to plan our trips, doing research, booking trips in advance. But we are definitely not the
ones who plan everything meticulously.
Travel life can be hard and expensive. It is not just sitting under the palm trees at some of the most
beautiful beaches in the world. It is true when people say that traveling is not only roses and rainbows.
Many people keep asking us: “HOW CAN YOU TRAVEL FOR SO LONG? Did you win the lottery? Are you crazy?” Well,
none of those. Okay, maybe a bit crazy We just returned from our 3rd adventure in Australia and we have been
traveling ? full time since summer 2017. In the last 2 years, we explored South America for 6 months and
traveled through Southeast Asia for 6 months.
We have learned how to travel smarter and how to not waste money on unnecessary things. We also learned how to
make our travel life easier while on the road.
The start is straightforward:
1. Save money. We used to have “normal” jobs, and each month we put money from our salaries aside and didn't
touch it.
2. Set your budget. Then we made a plan based on our savings on how much money to spend per month.
3. Stick to your budget.
4. Be smart when you travel. We didn't consider that we would discover so many simple tricks to save money
while traveling.
